Thoughts on raiding Groudon

Groudon shares identical stats and CP catch ranges with its bitter rival Kyogre

Like Kyogre it is equally effective in the battle league being a huge player in the Master league. It requires an elite charged TM to access its optimal charge move: Fire punch in order to perform at its best but it is an investment that is well worth it

Groudon also has lots of play in the PvE environment as does Kyogre

Like Kyogre, the Primal version of Groudon is yet to be released so raiding it now to get a good IV (15/15/15 optimal) is worth the time and investment.

It will require minimum of 99 raids to get enough XL candy to max it to level 50 assuming you get the minimum 3 XL candy per raid before considering other ways such as mega boosts, walking as a buddy and using rare XL candies.
