Counters to Terrakion

Fighting, Grass, Ground, Fairy, Steel, Psychic and Water are the types that Terrakion is weak too therefore anything possessing this typing/move sets will be effective.

Here are some of the most effective counters and the movesets to go with:

  • Confusion (fast move)
  • Psystrike (Charge move) – Legacy move

  • Bullet Punch (Fast move)
  • Meteor Mash (Charge move) – Legacy move

  • Confusion (Fast move)
  • Psychic (Charge move) – Legacy move

Shadow Machamp

  • Counter (Fast move)
  • Dynamic Punch (Charge move)

  • Vine Whip (Fast move)
  • Power Whip (Charge move)

  • Counter (Fast move)
  • Dynamic Punch (Charge move)

Other effective counters would include Confined Hoopa, Shadow Metagross, Shadow Mewtwo, Shadow Swampert and Mega Blastoise

Terrakion has a lot of weaknesses unfortunately 7 to be exact although it doesn’t have an double weakness. That combined with its poor bulk mean that unfortunately like Cobalion, its really not very good for PvP

It fairs a bit better in the PvE and is easily the best of the three; Cobalion and Verizion but still falls behind the likes a Rampardos as a rock type attacker. Its fighting type moveset means it cant compete in that category as the top tier Fighting type. It is a viable choice in PvE but there is better choices if you have them available

As it’s a Legendary Pokemon, to give it a second charge move costs 100 candies and 100,000 Stardust. It requires 20KM as a buddy to earn a candy walking.

How many Terrakion will you be raiding?!
